Again පරිප්පු ද ???

Note: I dont like Indian impact on Sri Lanka & I am totally against, if India try to do same thing as 1987 to protect LTTE terrorists. The following bolg post is completely a crazy thought.

"Smile like a tiger"- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi (A terrorist supporter)

Nearly 40 politicians from the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) party in India's Tamil Nadu state submitted their resignations in an attempt to put pressure on the indo central government to intervene in Sri Lanka. The DMK is allied to Singh's Congress party and it gave the government two weeks to do something or face being brought down.

There was a similar kind of tension built in 1987 when sri lanka army launched the "Operation Liberation" against LTTE & when the rebels were about to defeated .Indian Air force mounted operation poomalai on 4th june 1987 to airdrop of relief supplies in support of LTEE rebel forces. This ultimately drag srilanka forcefully to accept so called "Indo-Lanka accord" which was a big humiliation to the nation.

"Operation
poomalai" - Miraj attack crafts & Antonov-32

Will India drop පරිප්පු again as they did in 1987 ?

But this time it is different. If they drop පරිප්පු, people will not blame india and perhap they will be very thankful. Because cost of living is so high andපරිප්පු is a luxary good now.

අපිට කන්න දෙනවනම්
අපිට බොන්න දෙනවනම්

මොන කෙංගෙඬියද තව අපි ඕනෙ කියන්නේ ...

mm , What about if they drop milk powder instead of පරිප්පු ?. Then be careful. Milk powder might contain melamine.

Here is a way to differentiate Taiwan and China made products
: by looking at first three digits of its Bar Code.

If the 1st 3 digits are 690, 691 or 692 - China made
If the 1st 3 digits are 471 - Taiwan made

SL Government did not allow to airlift the remain of Major Genaral Janaka perera to Anuradhapura for his final journey. But before few months ,when Dr Mervin got injured his leg finger (only a minor injury) government gave him a helicopter to come to colombo.

Tribute To Late Genaral Janaka Perera

Major General Janaka Perera was a Sri Lankan General and politician. He served as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and is coincided as one of the most distinguished generals in Sri Lanka. After retiring from the army he served as a Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Australia & Ambassador to Indonesia. He was the opposition leader of the North Central Provincial Council till his death on October 6, 2008.

Following the fall Elephant Pass in April 2000 which forced the SL Army units in Jaffna to fall back due to lack of fixed defence positions, Perera was appointed Overall Operations Commander (OOC) and tasked with countering the LTTE offensive. During this time there were fears in 40,000 troops in the Jaffna peninsula could be cut off, trapped and overrun, which lead to the government of President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga to negotiate with the Indian government for ships to evacuate troops from the peninsula due to the lack of transport ships of the Navy. However General Janaka successfully commanded troops for several effective counter-offensives that halted the LTTE advance, removing the treat to the Jaffna peninsula and succeeded in established the current defense line in the Jaffna peninsula.

Janaka Perera was killed by a LTTE terrorist suicide bomb attack on October 6, 2008 in Anuradhapura.

Child or Adult - International Human day ?

I am in doubt whether to celebrate the "Universal Childern's day" or to celebrate the "International day of Older persons". Both fall on same day and My age is 24 + . Am I child or Adult ??

Why UN made it so ambiguous setting such two non identical thing on same day. Isn't it possible to name it as the "International Human day" .

I wonder why it is not Human day ?
